How we work

A lean, fast-moving squad of A-team practitioners.

We help organisations get clear on AI: strategy, capability building, and solution design.

Some associates extend our own delivery capacity on the work we do every day. Others pick up the baton once a project phase is complete and take solutions through to the next stages. We’re growing both sides of the network.

No spam, no obligation. We’ll add you to our database and reach out when there’s a fit.

FAQ

Questions you'll probably have

What does a typical engagement look like?
Engagements vary in shape and size: a single workshop, a 4–8 week sprint, or a multi-month delivery alongside us. Most are time-boxed projects rather than open-ended retainers.
Is the work remote or in-person?
Workshops and forward-deployed engagements prioritise in-person and embedded delivery at the client when it matters. Strategy, design and advisory work is remote-first. Most clients are in South Africa or the UK; we work with associates anywhere as long as you can collaborate across SAST and GMT/BST hours.
How are associates engaged commercially?
Most of the time we sub-contract: Supertube holds the client contract, manages delivery, and pays associates as independent contractors against the work delivered. Where the work sits outside our area of focus, we're also happy to make an introduction and hand the client relationship off to you. Terms are agreed per engagement.
What are the rates?
Rates are agreed per engagement based on scope, seniority and discipline. The form asks for your day rate so we can match opportunities to your range.
What happens after I apply?
We read every submission. If we see a likely fit, we'll reach out within a few weeks for an introductory call before adding you to the active network. If there isn't a fit right now, you'll stay in our database for future engagements. We won't always reply individually.
Is there exclusivity or a non-compete?
No blanket exclusivity. Associates run their own practices and we expect them to work with other clients and consultancies. The standing ask is that you don't directly compete for an engagement we've introduced you to. Associates sign the relevant NDAs before any engagement, and on highly sensitive work we'll sometimes layer in additional terms (a project-scoped non-compete, for example). We assess that on a project-by-project basis.
Who's a strong fit, and who isn't?
We have a high bar, but it's about capability, not years on a CV. The network is for A-team practitioners who can own a workstream, hold their own with executive stakeholders, and add value from day one. That's open to seasoned consultants with long delivery track records and to AI-native operators punching above their years. We run on honest, direct feedback in both directions; if you can give it and take it, you'll fit here. If you can't, you won't.
